Description

A delicious and easy recipe for sticky honey garlic chicken served over rice, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and cook in the skillet until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  5. Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and simmer until thickened.
  6. Serve the chicken over cooked rice and drizzle with the thickened sauce.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
