- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup.
- Transfer the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Before serving, sprinkle with cacao nibs and a pinch of sea salt.
Notes
- Make sure the avocados are ripe for the best texture.
- This mousse can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a sweeter mousse, increase the amount of maple syrup.
