- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the bell peppers and snap peas, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, tossing everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein.
