Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the flavors of strawberry and cheesecake in a simple dump cake format.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 can of strawberry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and melted butter until crumbly.
  3. Spread half of the cake mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the strawberry pie filling over the cake mixture.
  5. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
  7. Top with the remaining cake mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
