Description

Salmon & Catnip Cat Treats are a delicious and healthy snack for your feline friends, combining the rich flavor of salmon with the enticing aroma of catnip.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon dried catnip
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, whole wheat flour, oat flour, and dried catnip.
  3. Add the egg and olive oil to the mixture and stir until combined.
  4. If the mixture is too dry, add water a little at a time until it forms a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool completely before serving to your cat.
