A delicious and easy recipe for restaurant-style shrimp lo mein with a flavorful vegetable sauce.

- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha.
- This dish can be made with chicken or tofu instead of shrimp for a different protein option.
