Description

A delicious and creamy chicken tikka masala served with fragrant basmati rice and naan, perfect for a restaurant-style meal at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tikka masala spice blend
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 4 naan breads

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in yogurt and tikka masala spice blend for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in crushed tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and season with salt, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, cook basmati rice according to package instructions.
  8. Serve the chicken tikka masala over rice with naan on the side, garnished with fresh cilantro.
