Description
Delicious chicken tikka skewers marinated in a flavorful yogurt mixture, perfect for Ramadan celebrations.

- 1 kg chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, vegetable oil, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, cumin powder, paprika, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Serve hot with mint chutney and naan or rice.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Adjust spices according to your taste preference.
- Can be served with a side of salad for a complete meal.
