- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened and unsalted)
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup water (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree and peanut butter until well combined.
- Add the whole wheat flour and cinnamon, mixing until a dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add water a little at a time until it reaches a workable consistency.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are firm and lightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely before serving to your dog.
Notes
- Store the biscuits in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These biscuits can be frozen for longer storage.
- Ensure the peanut butter used does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
