These Pumpkin & Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits are a healthy and delicious treat for your furry friend, made with wholesome ingredients that are safe and nutritious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened and unsalted)
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree and peanut butter until well combined.
  3. Add the whole wheat flour and cinnamon, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. If the dough is too dry, add water a little at a time until it reaches a workable consistency.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are firm and lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving to your dog.

Notes

  • Store the biscuits in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • These biscuits can be frozen for longer storage.
  • Ensure the peanut butter used does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
