- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften.
- Add pasta and broth, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in fresh basil and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
- Fresh basil can be substituted with dried basil if necessary.
- This dish can be made with any type of pasta you prefer.
