Description

Million Dollar Spaghetti is a delicious and hearty pasta dish that combines layers of spaghetti, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese, creating a comforting meal that is perfect for family gatherings or special occasions.

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the skillet with the ground beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the cottage cheese mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, meat sauce, and cottage cheese mixture.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
