Description

Kunafa chocolate dessert is a delicious and indulgent treat that combines the crispy texture of kunafa with rich chocolate filling, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 200g kunafa pastry
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pistachios, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter with the kunafa pastry until well coated.
  3. Spread half of the kunafa mixture in a greased baking dish to form the base.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the kunafa base.
  6. Top with the remaining kunafa mixture, pressing down gently.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving, and garnish with crushed pistachios.
