Easy and delicious glazed carrots with a sweet and buttery finish. Perfect as a side dish for any meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add carrots, brown sugar, water, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir well and cover. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover and cook for another 5 minutes until the liquid reduces and forms a glaze.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Cut carrots into even sizes for even cooking.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
