Description

A delicious and easy recipe for food court style orange chicken with a sticky glaze that captures the essence of your favorite takeout dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
