- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, and salt to create the sauce.
- Coat the shrimp in cornstarch until fully covered.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp and drain on paper towels.
- Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
- For a healthier version, consider baking the shrimp instead of frying.
- Can be served over rice or as a salad topping.
