- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cardamom, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, applesauce, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples gently.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a small cookie scoop, drop the batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each donut hole.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the donut holes are cooling, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Dip each donut hole into the glaze and let it set on a wire rack.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust the amount of cardamom according to your taste preference.
